Simply install the WaterCop motor and automatic shut-off valve (both sold separately) on the main water line near the existing manual valve. Then place WaterCop flood sensors where running water is present. When water comes into contact with a sensor, a wireless signal is immediately broadcast to the WaterCop motor, which then automatically closes the valve. Water flow is quickly cut off and any major flooding is stopped. These flood sensors feature a robust 418MHz radio transmitter chipset with up to a 200 foot operating range, user adjustable digital security codes, and operate on either two (2) AA batteries or an optional AC power adapter. Sensors Included: 1. NOTE: This is one part of three pieces required for a complete WaterCop system. You'll also need to add an actuator motor and a shut-off valve.
